How Your Academy Is Set Up

Each academy on Koursely is a fully isolated instance with its own subdomain (or custom domain), students, courses, and settings. When you sign up, you become the Academy Admin for your own academy, with full control over it. This is separate from Super Admin, which is the platform-level role Koursely's own team uses to operate the underlying service — an Academy Admin never has access to another academy's data, and a Super Admin's role is platform operations, not managing your content.

What Makes Koursely Different

The most common alternative to an all-in-one platform is a patchwork stack: a course-hosting tool, a separate community app, a separate payment processor relationship, and a separate email tool — each billed separately, and each taking its own cut where applicable. Koursely's two structural differences:

• 0% commission, always. Because payments route through your own connected Stripe, Razorpay, PhonePe, Cashfree, or MobiKwik account (BYOK — Bring Your Own Keys), Koursely never touches your money and never takes a percentage of a sale.
• Native UPI support. Most course platforms are built for a US/European market and only support international card processing. Koursely was built with Indian payment rails as a first-class option.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Koursely only for creators in India?

No — Koursely works globally via Stripe for international payments. Native UPI, Razorpay, PhonePe, Cashfree, and MobiKwik support specifically make it a strong fit for creators selling to Indian students, but international creators can run a full academy using Stripe alone.

Do I need technical or coding skills to use Koursely?

No. Course building, community setup, and payment configuration are all handled through the admin dashboard UI. The one exception is connecting custom domain DNS records, which requires access to your domain registrar.

Can I migrate my existing students and courses from another platform?

Student lists can be imported via CSV from the Student CRM. Course content (video, structure) needs to be rebuilt or re-uploaded on Koursely, since there is no automated one-click import from other LMS platforms.
