White-Label Branding: Removing Koursely Branding From Your Academy
Remove platform attribution, set your brand colors, and send system emails from your own domain.
White-labeling means your students see your brand end to end — no visible trace that you're running on a third-party platform. This is a Settings-level configuration that touches your footer, transactional emails, and brand colors.
Step 1: Remove Platform Branding
- Go to Settings → Branding in your admin dashboard.
- Toggle off "Powered by Koursely" — this removes the attribution from your public-facing footer and transactional emails.
Step 2: Set Your Brand Identity
- Upload your logo and favicon.
- Set your primary brand color — this applies across buttons, links, and accents throughout the student-facing experience.
Step 3: Connect a Custom Domain
Branding removal only gets you halfway — a Koursely subdomain in the address bar still signals "third-party tool." Pair this with a custom domain for full white-labeling.
Step 4: Send Email From Your Own Domain
By default, system emails (enrollment confirmations, password resets) can carry Koursely's sending domain. Connecting your own email provider (Resend, Brevo, SendGrid, or custom SMTP) means every email a student receives comes from your domain instead. See Custom Transactional Email.
What White-Labeling Does Not Change
White-labeling controls what students see. It does not change your Koursely subscription, dashboard, or account relationship — you're still managing your academy through the same admin panel, just presenting it under your own identity to students.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a custom domain to remove branding?
No — you can toggle off "Powered by Koursely" independently of connecting a custom domain, though pairing both gives the most complete white-label result.
Will removing branding affect my billing or plan?
No, white-label branding controls are included in the standard plan and don't change your subscription cost.
